Securitas USA in St. Paul, MN is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time) to protect client sites by patrolling premises, monitoring activity, and enforcing regulations. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and a professional demeanor while maintaining safety.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of security or related experience, a valid MN CCW, and complete pre-employment screening. Training is provided; benefits include medical, 401(k), paid time off, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 2 years of Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience required.
• Must currently hold a valid MN CCW.
• Firearms training, CPR / FA, IPAT, and NLDW required.
• 2nd interview required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and patrol a variety of locations to maintain a safe environment.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites and protect assets.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and customers.
• Act as a physical deterrent when necessary and respond to emergencies with sound judgment.
