Elizabeth Layton Center, Inc. in Ottawa, KS, is seeking a part-time weekend Adult Specialist to join our Community Support Services team.

The role involves supervision and supportive services for adults with severe mental illness, primarily at residential housing, with some outreach to homes and other settings. Under supervision, you will provide information, education, and training to promote independence, productivity, self-determination, and community inclusion.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 40 hours of training in providing equivalent supportive services or ability to attend 40 hours on-site training.
• All offers contingent upon successful completion of required background checks.

Aufgaben

• Assists in developing and providing structured activities to include attendant care, psychosocial group activities and individual community support
• Maintains a safe and productive environment during time spent in attendance of consumers
• Provides transportation to and from various activities or appointments (must maintain a good driving record)
• Provides medication observation in the community and in supported housing environmentMaintains appropriate records for reporting, evaluation, accounting, and clinical purposes
• Meets deadlines for daily paperwork and reports
• Completes other duties as deemed appropriate by immediate supervisor
• Complies with ELC policies and procedures
