Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Weekend Only PACU registered nurse for our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. The role supports postoperative patients in a high‑volume PACU environment, with 24-hour weekend coverage and a focus on patient advocacy.

Qualifications include a 4-year/BSN degree, an active RN license, and BLS; one year of relevant experience is preferred. Competitive benefits are available as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• RN license active in appropriate state; renewal and CEU requirements per board policy.

Responsibilities

• Extremely high functioning in a fast-paced PACU setting.
• Average between 80-110 operating room cases per day.
• Active recovery, step-down and floor status management.
• Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth recovery transition.
