The role focuses on recovery, monitoring, and advocacy to ensure a smooth transition from surgery. Education and licensure requirements include a BSN preferred, current RN license in North Carolina, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• If RN license is inactive, retired or lapsed for five years, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating license within one year of completing the refresher.

Responsibilities

• Extremely high functioning.
• Average between 80-110 Operating Room cases a day.
• Active recovery, step-down and floor status.
• Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth recovery transition.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent
