Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is expanding and we’re excited to bring new talent on board as Packaging Machine Operators on the Weekend Day Shift. This role offers steady hours Friday to Sunday 6AM-6PM, a dependable 4-day workweek, and the chance to grow your career with a household name.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift license.
• Knowledge of packaging machine equipment preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines are running properly
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing)
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines
• Train new operators as needed
