Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a machine operator to monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment in a high-volume production environment. You will follow SOPs, GMP and safety procedures to produce quality products according to customer specifications, and perform complete washouts at the end of each run.

Duties include setting up machines at start of shift, performing safety checks, adjusting components, loading packaging material, inspecting finished items, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Understand written and verbal instructions to complete packaging of products, follow SOPs and SSPOs.
• Able to operate various manufacturing equipment in mass/high volume production environment.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning skills to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine at beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Perform safety checks throughout shift and document activities.
• Adjust machine components according to finished product specifications.
• Load packaging material into machine throughout shift.
• Stop and adjust machine in cases of malfunctions or jams.
• Troubleshoot problems during operation and inspect finished items.
