Job summary

Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon is hiring full-time Weekend shift Packaging Machine Operators to run the packaging line and ensure the quality of Damn Tasty beverages. You will work as part of a small team to keep the line running smoothly and verify labels, dates, and batch numbers.

Base wages when joining start at $18.36/hour with potential increases based on experience and training; a $3.00/hour night differential applies for time worked 6pm–6am.

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn our specialty brewery equipment and machinery.
• Focus on safety training and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in a team-based environment is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous manufacturing or production or forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and monitor the line for quality and accuracy.
• Check bottled on/expiration dates and batch numbers during production.
• Assist with labeling changes and other packaging-line tasks as needed.
