Job summary

Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon is hiring for full-time weekend shift Packaging Machine Operators to run the packaging line, ensure quality, and label bottles. Base wages start at $18.36/hr with potential increases based on experience.

New hires may receive up to 3 pay increases in the first year after training, plus a $3.00/hr night differential between 6pm and 6am. Career growth paths exist with training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Eagerness and ability to learn our specialty brewery equipment and machinery.
• Focused attention on training for safety and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in a team-based environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous manufacturing or production or forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging line and related automated equipment.
• Perform quality checks on bottled, canned, and kegged products.
• Verify dates, expiration dates, and batch numbers for accuracy.
• Assist with changing bottle labels and other packaging tasks as needed.
