Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Production Brewer to oversee the brewing process for Deschutes, Boneyard, and PartyBomb brands. The role covers raw material prep through fermentation to packaging and involves on‑the‑job training, with a typical 12‑hour shift across 3 days (Sat–Mon 6:00pm–6:00am).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fermentation science/engineering/related field preferred.
• Previous production brewing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly and tilt up to 200 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Flexible schedule; rotating nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimum beer quality by following SOPs and communicating process changes.
• Manage daily production tasks and operate equipment per schedules.
• Document and enter data for brewhouse and cellar processes.
• Coordinate work with brewhouses, cellars, packaging, QA and warehouse.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements and cross‑training opportunities.
• Participate in company initiatives and share beer knowledge across teams.
