Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Horse Cave, KY is seeking a packaging/production assistant for 1st shift on weekends (Friday through Sunday, 5:00am–5:00pm). The role operates the filler on an assigned line, ensures products are properly sealed, and assists in loading supplies throughout the production process in a climate controlled facility.

You’ll help with packaging, inspecting products, filling feeds, assembling boxes, stacking cases, and can rotate on other lines as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret written directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the filler on an assigned line and ensure proper sealing.
• Pack and boxes, load supplies, and stage pallets for shipping.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness and follow HAACP and PPE requirements.
• Rotate on lines and assist machine operators as needed.
