Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Horse Cave, KY is seeking a packaging production associate to support a product filling/packaging line. You will inspect, feed, box, pack, and palletize products, while rotating across lines to maintain continuous production.

The shift is 1st weekend (Friday - Sunday) 5:00am-5:00pm in a climate-controlled plant with a safety-focused culture. We offer competitive pay at 23.84 per hour plus benefits and opportunities for growth in a leading consumer packaged goods company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with repetitive work.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with team members and management.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret written instructions.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation of packaging machinery and equipment.
• Inspect products and packaging for quality and proper labeling.
• Fill trays, assemble boxes, pack products into cases and palletize for shipping.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and accurate records per SOPs and HAACP standards.
• Rotate across lines within the department as needed and assist other operators.
