Job summary

Ravago is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician for the FFS packaging line in Baytown, TX. The role focuses on predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance to keep the production line running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has experience with packaging lines, understands safety regulations, can work with electrical and mechanical systems, holds a valid driver’s license, and is able to communicate clearly with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Experience on FFS packaging lines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, energy isolation, lockout, JSAs.
• Ability to work around high voltage and energized lines.
• Mechanical maintenance knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to read, write and comprehend English and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production lines and equipment.
• Execute troubleshooting and root cause analysis during corrective maintenance on main production lines and equipment.
• Maintain production lines’ main components, like conveyors, rollers, gearmotors, valves and related electrical, automation and mechanical equipment.
• Open, update and close assigned Work Orders utilizing CMMS (MPulse).
• Identify and notify Maintenance Supervisor or Manager about any maintenance related deviation or requirement from internal customers.
• Maintain communication among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Provide solutions and corrective/preventive actions on problems/troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility Standard.
• Any other maintenance related task assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
