Emmetsburg Care Center in Emmetsburg, IA is seeking a Weekend Package Nurse to join our friendly, caring team. You will supervise clinical staff on your unit, ensure high quality resident care, and uphold infection prevention practices while maintaining adequate staffing.

Candidates must hold an Iowa or compact state RN or LPN license and CPR certification. Prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred. Emmetsburg Care Center is an equal opportunity employer.

As a Weekend Package nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) or License Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) license and CPR certification. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
