Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma in Iowa is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our friendly, caring team in a skilled nursing environment. The weekend package adds an extra $5/hour, with competitive wages and shift differentials to reward dedication.

You will supervise clinical staff on your unit, provide education, uphold infection prevention practices, and help maintain adequate staffing so residents receive an exceptional standard of care. Iowa RN license required.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state) is required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of your assigned unit.
• Supervise activities of clinical staff on your unit; provide guidance and education.
• Help instill a positive and inclusive facility culture and ensure infection prevention practices are maintained.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents' needs and deliver high-quality care.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Colonial Manor of Elma by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa(or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
