Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center is seeking a Weekend Package Nurse to join a supportive team. You will supervise the clinical staff on your unit, ensuring high standards of care and education for the team.

Responsibilities include maintaining infection prevention practices and ensuring adequate staffing to meet residents' needs, delivering compassionate, resident-centered care with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered license to practice nursing in Iowa or a compact state (RN or LPN).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff on care practices.

As a Weekend Package nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) or License Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) license and CPR certification. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
