Legacy Healthcare LLC is recruiting staff nurses for Emmetsburg Care Center, offering full-time and part-time shifts from 6a-6p. You will supervise clinical staff on your unit, uphold infection prevention practices, and ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered Iowa RN license; state compact eligibility acceptable.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility settings preferred.
• Ability to lead and educate clinical staff on a busy unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the assigned unit to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the unit; provide guidance and coaching.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and ensure adequate staffing.
• Support residents with knowledge, skills and attention to detail for excellent care.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
