Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma is seeking a dedicated staff nurse to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team. You will help manage the operations of your assigned unit and ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care.

As a nurse, you will supervise clinical staff, provide education, and promote a positive facility culture while maintaining infection prevention practices and staffing levels to meet residents’ needs. An Iowa RN license or compact-state license is required.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state) required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff and maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing for residents' needs and uphold high standard of care.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Colonial Manor of Elma by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa(or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
