Job summary

WesleyLife in Newton, at Park Centre, is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents. The role includes admissions, care coordination with physicians and families, and strict adherence to infection control policies.

The ideal candidate holds an Iowa RN or LPN license, with LTC experience preferred. The position offers day shifts, competitive starting pay, and a benefits package.

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Conduct admission assessments into the Health Center and enter into Point Click Care (PCC) *RNs only.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license
• PreviousLTC experience is preferred but notrequired

Day Shift 6:00a-6:30p (F,S,S)
