WesleyLife in Indianola, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a campus undergoing renovations and to play a central role during the ongoing transformation. You will assess residents, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and families.

You will supervise CNAs, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide education and support to residents and families while promoting a safe, healing environment. Weekend, 12-hour shifts offered.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in the state of Iowa is required.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care including assessments, documentation, and care planning.
• Supervises CNAs and others, ensures regulatory compliance and resident safety.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team, physicians and families to coordinate care.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
• Offer emotional support and education to residents and families about care plans.

Job Duties: Registered Nurse

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.

Open Shifts Available

• 1st shift, Full-time Weekend package 12 hour shifts (6:30am-6:30 pm)

Qualifications

• State of Iowa RN license
