Job summary

Raytheon in Springfield, VA is seeking an Operator to join on-site, 24x7 operations for a mission-critical government system. You will work with engineers, technologists, subcontractors, and customers to provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting and keep the system running.

The role is weekend overnight (6:00 pm–6:00 am) with two 8-hour shifts after training, with shift differential. U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance are required before start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for system anomalies.
• Maintain the environment by identifying anomalies and restoring operations.
• Assist with upgrades and monitor system/network performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Follow operational policies; troubleshoot hardware, software and OS and escalate as needed.
