Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Operator to join a high-performing on-site team supporting a critical U.S. government system. The role focuses on Tier 1–2 troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining system performance with collaboration across engineers and vendors.

The position is a weekday third shift (10:00pm–6:00am) with occasional weekend coverage roughly every five weeks after training, plus shift differentials. U.S. citizenship and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Active U.S. government security clearance (citizenship required).
• Experience with Linux commands.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting to resolve system anomalies with the team.
• Maintain the environment by identifying anomalies and restoring operations; liaise with senior engineers.
• Assist with installing upgrades and monitor system and network performance; troubleshoot and escalate.
• Follow policies, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and escalate problems.
