The supervisor will monitor performance, provide education, discipline as needed, and participate in quality assurance and discharge planning to support a safe, compliant center.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate from an approved LPN/RN program.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Monitor the performance of CNAs and non-licensed personnel; provide education and counseling.
• Disciplinary action and performance evaluations as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and Center policies.
• Assist in planning shifts, services, programs, and activities.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure updates.
• Participate in quality assurance and center surveys or inspections.
• Assist in discharge planning and resident care coordination.
• Prepare reports and provide information to billing as needed.
