Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a dependable LPN or RN to provide quality weekend overnight nursing care for residents. This role covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with responsibilities including medication administration, monitoring, and accurate documentation.

The nurse will oversee resident care, coordinate with CNAs and the care team, participate in care planning, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and compassionate service during the overnight shift.

Qualifications

How Hiring: Weekend Overnight Nurse

Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable LPN or RN to provide quality nursing care to residents during the weekend overnight shift. This nurse will oversee resident care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the shift.

Responsibilities of Weekend LPN or RN

• Provide and oversee nursing care for residents on the assigned unit.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor residents' conditions, vital signs, comfort, and safety needs.
• Recognize and report changes in condition, incidents, and other significant concerns.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation, including progress notes and care-related records.
• Receive and provide thorough shift reports and follow up on resident care needs.
• Follow resident care plans and ensure CNAs are following established care approaches.
• Monitor CNA documentation and communicate resident care needs to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Participate in care planning, quality improvement activities, in-services, and staff meetings.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, local, and facility regulations and policies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing resident needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Requirements of Weekend LPN or RN
