Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a social worker for an every/other Sunday overnight shift within the Social Work Emergency Services team. The role focuses on biopsychosocial assessments, trauma-informed interventions, and patient-family advocacy across the Emergency Department and inpatient services. Onsite position with weekend overnight hours from 9:30pm to 8:00am.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work and MA LCSW/LICSW licensure. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required.
• State licensure as LCSW or LICSW in Massachusetts required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus that can aid family interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services to patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental challenges.
• Perform psychosocial and risk assessments, diagnose, and plan interventions and treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and community agencies to implement discharge and outpatient plans.
