Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor BHCC) to provide compassionate support to individuals in crisis. This role supports safety, daily needs, and a welcoming environment during challenging times.

Shifts include Saturday and Sunday nights, 7:00pm-7:00am, with 24 hours weekly. You will work under the supervision of the Triage Clinician Lead, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentor new staff, and help individuals feel seen,

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis and meet daily needs.
• Monitor safety and create a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration (L1MA training).
• Share observations with the treatment team to enhance care.
• Keep the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
