Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings. You will help with daily living skills, social engagement, and behavior management to create a safe, structured environment.

The role emphasizes weekend shifts (9:00am–9:00pm) with a 24-hour weekly schedule. Candidates should be collaborative, patient, and ready to document progress and maintain safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least 1 year of work experience or equivalent.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license at time of hire; MO class E license by end of 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, including taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities; driving is required.
