Job summary

Webstaurantstore is seeking an Outbound Material Handler to ensure orders are picked, consolidated, packed and shipped accurately and promptly. You will use handheld devices, ERP systems, and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to support outbound operations.

The role emphasizes efficient, safe, and organized work practices, teamwork, and adherence to company policies. No degree is required, and prior distribution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of relevant distribution experience preferred but not required.
• No degree required; skills and experience valued above formal education.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, etc.) and follow established safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking using handheld scanning devices and ERP system, performed on foot or with forklift equipment.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
• Pack products accurately and securely using internal systems to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Operate warehouse equipment following established protocols and promote safety.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and report hazards.
