Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Material Handler to unload, receive, store, pick, pack, and ship inventory in our warehouse. This role uses ERP systems and forklift equipment to ensure accurate inbound and outbound operations.

The position requires strong communication, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Education is not required, and related experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
• Business proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and scanners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment or by hand.
• Use ERP to receive inventory accurately and stock it.
• Move palletized product with pallet jacks/forklift to organize receiving dock.
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using handheld devices.
• Retrieve items from racking using handheld scanners and ERP system.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
• Pack products securely using internal SPS system.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety guidelines.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily, weekly, monthly goals.
• Adhere to company and warehouse policies.
• Flex into other roles as needed.
