Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Orthopedics team for weekend coverage. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with a day shift on weekends (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO.

The RN will apply the nursing process to consistently deliver patient care, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with other departments while aligning with Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following.
• Education requirements include ADN, nursing diploma, or BSN.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
