Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedics unit on the weekend schedule. This full-time role requires 36 hours weekly with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends, located at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO.

You will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold Mercy's standards and values while supporting patients and families through orthopedic treatments and recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required or must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
