Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Orthopedics for a weekend day shift. The role is full-time at 36 hours per week, with Day Shift and Weekend coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

The RN will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold Mercy's standards of patient rights, confidentiality, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma or BSN.
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and team members.
