Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedics unit on the weekend with a 36-hour workweek. The role requires day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Eligible candidates will have Missouri RN licensure (or compact), and BLS certification with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a nursing education program and be licensed as an RN in Missouri or have compact licensure.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred and may be required for some units.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for orthopedic patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams and departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and document care accurately.
