Job summary

Next Move Healthcare is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a hospital-based surgical services team in Naples, Florida.

This full-time weekend day role offers three 12-hour shifts, competitive compensation, on-call and shift differentials, and potential sign-on and relocation incentives. Epic EMR experience is required, with a focus on safe perioperative care and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (or APRN) as required for practice.
• Minimum 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience required with competency on first day.
• Must complete background screening, health clearance and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care per established standards and protocols.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Perform preoperative assessments, identify risk factors, and address needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and staff during procedures.
• Maintain Epic documentation and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
• Participate in on-call coverage and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and precept new staff, supporting clinical development and competency.
