Job summary

Mercy in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Charge Nurse to lead nursing services under supervision of the Director and Clinical Manager. You will ensure efficient, safe patient care using the nursing process and hospital policies, delegating tasks to staff, and supervising patient records and reports on performance.

You'll assist with bed assignments, manage inventory of solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and ensure narcotics tracking and compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in hiring state or a valid compact license.
• Relevant certifications may be required or pursued per unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing service activities and supervise staff under Director/Clinical Manager.
• Ensure safe, efficient patient care using nursing processes and hospital policies.
• Coordinate bed assignments, manage patient records, and assist with staffing reports.
