Dawson is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to provide exceptional eye care for military personnel and their families in Florida. The position offers flexible, part-time work primarily on weekends, supporting the Medical Readiness Services for the Florida Army National Guard.

Qualified candidates should possess an active Florida Optometrist license and the ability to complete eyewear prescriptions, while ensuring patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Optometrist license, without restrictions.
• A valid US driver’s license.
• Must submit no less than two professional references with a resume.

Responsibilities

• Complete eyewear prescriptions for Soldiers with vision loss.
• Document findings on Military approved forms.
• Safeguard all patient information.
• Ensures all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws.
