Job summary

Dawsonohana is seeking part-time Optometrists throughout Florida to support the Medical Readiness Services for the Florida Army National Guard. Responsibilities include completing eyewear prescriptions, documenting findings accurately, and safeguarding patient information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Ideal candidates will have a Doctor of Optometry degree and an active Florida Optometrist license. Qualifications

• Active Florida Optometrist license, without restrictions.
• A valid US driver’s license is required.
• Must submit no less than two professional references with a resume.

Responsibilities

• Complete eyewear prescriptions for Soldiers with vision loss.
• Document findings meticulously on Military approved forms.
• Safeguard all patient information in compliance with HIPAA.
