Job summary
Plainfield Health Care Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Weekend Option Nurse roles. You will provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility, administering medications, assessing residents, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of life.
The Weekend option schedule runs Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM, totaling 32 hours per weekend, with premium pay per facility policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana RN license (or Indiana LPN license) in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor changes in condition.
- Supervise CNAs and other staff; document care in EMR.
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure infection prevention measures.
