Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit WOW+1 program. The role covers weekend 7a-7p on Saturdays and Sundays with one additional weekday day, providing direct patient care from admission to discharge.

The unit is a 29-bed observation area in the ED; weekend shifts come with premium pay. Indiana or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months required. Full-time 36 hours weekly; rotation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license required.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 12 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member delivering direct patient care to meet patient and family needs.
• Participate in unit operations and collaborate with ED staff to ensure high-quality care.
