Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and current CNA in Alabama required.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily task of vital signs, blood sugar testing, intakes & outputs, EKGs, and assisting consumers with activities of daily living under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Provides ongoing monitoring and interaction with the consumers.
• Provides daily assessment of consumer behavior and records and submits information according to policy and standards.
• Assists consumers with personal care, activities, current events and safety issues.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation.
