Advocate Health Christ Medical Center is seeking a Registry/Part-time Stationary Engineer III to cover weekend shifts in Oak Lawn, IL. The role focuses on operating and maintaining campus HVAC systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance with minimal supervision.

The position requires a Stationary Engineer license or equivalent Power Engineer certification, 4+ years in the field, and strong CMMS and BAS skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Stationary Engineer license from the municipality of work location or Power Engineer certification (1st–5th Class) from NIULPE or ASOPE.
• 4+ years of stationary engineering experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all campus HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers and cooling towers.
• Maintain logs and CMMS records for maintenance actions and inspections.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints and manuals to complete assigned tasks accurately.
• Support small projects and assist peers as needed.
