Weekend On-Call RN: Lead Nursing Care

Job summary

PACS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty in a long-term care facility.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, coordinate with the Director of Nursing and ADON, and lead nursing staff to deliver high-quality resident care. A Nursing Degree and active RN license are required, with prior long-term care experience and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must maintain an active RN license in the state of employment.
• Two years or more experience preferably in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty.
• Direct nursing services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Develop, maintain, and update Nursing Service procedures and manuals; ensure they are current.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and in facility surveys as required.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services and ADON to coordinate resident care and staff performance.
• Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan services, programs, and activities.
