Job summary

Complete Building Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to operate, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems within a facility in Arlington, VA. The role offers a 40-hour work week with weekend availability and a salary of $23–$26 per hour, depending on experience.

Training will be provided to obtain necessary licenses. The position involves inspections, preventative maintenance, system diagnostics, and collaboration with subcontractors and the building manager to ensure

Qualifications

Must be available to work all shifts.
Must be available to be on call 24/7.
Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems.
Universal CFC/R-410A certification.
Prior hotel experience is a plus.
Reliable transportation.
Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Capable of ascending ladders up to 30 feet.
Possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and equipment.
Carry out preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
Maintain equipment to industry standards.
Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required.
Assist subcontractors for installation/repair of equipment.
Interface with building manager and client representatives to ensure satisfaction.
Complete status reports on system performance as directed.
Run wiring, cabling, ductwork and mount equipment per specs.
Place or remove systems and equipment as directed.
Purchase materials and maintain inventory for timely work completion.
Perform other duties as assigned.
