Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems within a Washington, DC facility. The weekend 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule includes on-call duties and on-site work to keep equipment running reliably.

You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair systems, support subcontractors, and report on system status as directed. CBS offers benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must be available to be on call 24/7.
• Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems.
• Universal CFC/R-410A certification.
• Prior hotel experience is a plus.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 60 pounds.
• Capable of ascending ladders up to 30 feet.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required.
• Interface with building manager and customer representatives to ensure satisfaction.
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, mount equipment per specifications.
