LilyCare Hospice is seeking a Weekend On Call Hospice Registered Nurse (PRN) to cover patients on weekends across central New Mexico. Duties include after-hours calls, in-home visits, and hospice admissions with strong support from an interdisciplinary team.

Per-visit pay with mileage reimbursement and flexible PRN scheduling, ensuring coverage without weekday commitments. Valid NM RN license and BLS/CPR required, with field-based travel across New Mexico.

Formación

• Active New Mexico RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted).
• Current AHA BLS/CPR certification.
• Hospice or home care experience preferred; comfortable working autonomously on call.
• Strong end-of-life symptom management and assessment skills.
• Valid NM driver’s license and insured vehicle for home visits.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to after-hours calls and triage patient and family needs during on-call shifts.
• Make in-home visits for symptom and pain management, comfort care, and crisis response.
• Complete hospice admissions and pronouncements during on-call hours as needed.
• Coordinate care and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team and on-call physician.
• Document calls and visits accurately in the electronic health record per hospice requirements.
• Provide a clear handoff to the weekday team at the end of coverage.
