Job summary

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking an On-Call After-Hours Hospice RN to join our team. This full-time salaried role covers after-hours from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday, with support from a 24/7 RN triage department and local hospice staff. We value compassionate, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
• Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
• Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
• Heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care

Responsibilities

• You'll be a voice for your patients, communicating with the plan of care among patient, family, and hospice team
• Serve as patient advocate to ensure quality care and continuity during after-hours coverage
• Collaborate with the 24/7 RN triage department and local hospice team
