Job summary

Affinity Hospice in Rome, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our weekend on-call team. This full-time role emphasizes delivering compassionate hospice care in patients’ homes and guiding the interdisciplinary team to meet each patient’s needs.

You'll cover Friday 4:30pm to Monday 8:00am, coordinate with families, supervise hospice aides and LPNs, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold infection-control standards. A GA RN license, CPR certification, and a insured vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing Diploma/AS/BSN program.
• Current State RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in clinical/home/hospice preferred.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle and reliable transportation.
• Excellent observation, communication and nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Case manages and directs interdisciplinary team and family.
• Develop and document patient plan of care.
• Provide care with infection control measures.
• Ensure quality patient care with proper documentation.
• Monitor cases for third-party payer requirements.
• Supervise hospice aides and LPNs.
• Perform on-call duties as assigned.
