Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) is seeking a Go Team On-Call and Weekend Liaison in Providence to provide in-person crisis intervention and emergency screening in collaboration with law enforcement during weekends and after hours.

The role supports Go Team communities, requiring crisis intervention skills and the ability to respond independently or with a team. A bachelor’s degree in human services is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Crisis management and intervention skills required.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required.
• Experience in victim services or crisis intervention.
• Training in childhood trauma, police procedures and court experience.
• Case management experience; knowledge of community and victim resources.
• Experience working with law enforcement preferred.
• Bilingual/ASL skills compensated by 6% above base pay.
• Multilingual skills compensated by 8% above base pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person crisis intervention, emergency screening, and triage in collaboration with law enforcement.
• Respond during weekends, holidays and after hours.
• Provide coverage and support in the Go Team communities.
