Job summary

Family Service of RI (FSRI) is seeking an on-call Go Team liaison to provide in-person crisis intervention and emergency triage in collaboration with law enforcement. You will respond during weekends, holidays and after hours and support Go Team communities across the state.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), crisis intervention skills, a driver’s license, and experience with victim services. Bilingual capabilities are valued; ASL/ multilingual compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Crisis management and intervention skills required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance required.
• Experience and training in victim services and/ or crisis intervention required.
• Training in childhood trauma, police procedures and court experience required.
• Case management experience, knowledge of community and victim resources highly preferred.
• Experience working with law enforcement highly preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred; Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, Multilingual by 8% above base pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person crisis intervention, emergency screening and triage in collaboration with law enforcement.
• Respond during weekends, holidays and after hours as directed by law enforcement.
• Provide coverage and support in the various Go Team communities.
