Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our patient care team on weekends. This part-time role (24 hours per week) focuses on delivering medically prescribed OT programs and supporting patients in achieving maximum potential within the scope of practice.

Graduate of an accredited OT program with a current license or eligibility is required, along with a current BLS certification. NBOT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current occupational therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within occupational therapy scope and organize prescribed programs.
• Promote growth of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams to support patient outcomes.
