Job summary

This full-time, third-shift role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, NC or Multistate RN licensure, and current BLS; ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with best practices in endoscopy and gastroenterology nursing.
• Ensures that proper technique and practice are used according to accepted standards.
• Supervises other personnel in the room and directs or assists as necessary.
• Ensures care of patient through proper identification, checking of chart and reporting changes in condition.
• Accompanies patient to patient care unit and reports to nurse on patient procedure and special happenings.
